To carry Ryan's legacy...

Ryan was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma, one of the rarest forms of soft tissue cancer in the world, when he was 20 years old in May 2010.  Only 1 to 3 people in a million are diagnosed with this disease each year and it is most common amongst teenagers and young adults. For almost 6 years Ryan fought the fight of his life with strength and determination. In July 2012, the sarcoma metastisized to his lungs and the fight became more difficult.  Ryan endured endless treatments, x-rays, CT Scans, surgeries and hospital stays for the next three years always remaining hopeful and carrying on with life.  He loved his family and friends passionately and was a devoted Steelers, Raptors, & Jays fan.  On February 14, 2016 Ryan lost his long battle to this horrible disease keeping his humour and wit about him to the very end.
