ERIC'S STORY

This is my son Eric. At the age of 19 he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. With his family, girlfriend and friends by his side he did 6 months of ABDV chemotherapy and completed 4 weeks of radiation this past January. While waiting to do a Pet scan to get the cancer free diagnosis, he had a relapse in April 2017. We couldn’t believe he had to go through this again. He will be doing a more aggressive chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant at the Juravinski Clinic in Hamilton in July. With myself having to leave work to care for him and help with everything he needs, it has been very hard on our family. With the help of the Ryan Saturno Patient Amenties Fund, it has helped us offset some of the cost that goes along with having to travel, and for our family to stay close during his stay at the Juravinski Clinic.  We are very grateful for this help during this time and I sincerely thank everyone who donates to help families like ours.
